-Since taking "Stretch and Strength" with Karen, I have gained a new appreciation for my body and what I am capable of. I am building new confidence in myself and my body after having two babies and am motivated more than ever to be in the best shape physically and mentally that I can be in. I am seeing more results every week as Karen motivates me to reach my goals and to love myself inside and out, body and soul!

"This class has helped me in my every day life. I'm more conscious of my posture and it as has helped my weight lifting with more of an emphasis on breathing and alignment. I feel better and bring the stretches I've learned to my regular workouts at the gym. Thanks Karen!"

-I am currently taking breathing and stretching exercises with Karen Andrew for my frozen shoulder. My stiff shoulder joint temporarily lost the ability to move freely; reaching overhead and reaching to the low back. I read that stretching exercises are the treatments of choice for frozen shoulder and the vast majority of patients who develop a frozen shoulder will recover their functional motion with therapy and stretching alone.
Karen is an amazing instructor and very dedicated to her work. She has provided me with exercises that I can do either at home or at work. So far, I have had 3 sessions and to this day the stiffness and pain of my shoulder has subsided quite substantially.
I look forward to my next sessions with Karen.

-When I began Karen's Stretch and Strength class my leg muscles were so
tight and sore that my hip flexors and hamstrings used to wake me up at
night. I started taking the Stretch and Strength class to alleviate the
pain. Within 3 classes I was no longer being woken up with leg pain. To my
surprise I also noticed that I was much more grounded and present in my
everyday life. I noticed that my breathing was deeper and more fulfilling.
I also noticed that I had better concentration and focus during my weight
workouts with my weight trainer. My body started responding a lot quicker
than I expected. I lost inches all over, my stomach flattened and my leg
muscles started to lean out and lengthen. The best unexpected result is
that I am standing straighter too!
